The 2.0 firmware for the iPod touch Español | Deutsch | Français | Italiano | Português

For Apple the events of the day are best described as a bit of a disaster, especially for iPod touch owners like myself who have been left in update limbo all day long.


However bypassing iTunes, which is still periodically claiming that the previous 1.1.4 firmware is the latest available, I managed to download the 2.0 firmware directly from the Apple servers and have now successfully upgraded my iPod to the new firmware.

Now I just have to push all my content back onto my iPod and I'm done...

Update: But at least I didn't have two cranky toddlers to cope with...
